SAFETY RULES

  1. TREAT ALL FIREARMS AS IF THEY ARE LOADED

  2. NEVER PUT YOUR FINGER ON THE TRIGGER UNLESS YOU ARE ON A DESIGNATED TARGET

  3. NEVER POINT A FIREARM AT ANYTHING OTHER THAN A VALID TARGET DOWN RANGE

  4. ALL FIREARMS MUST BE POINTED DOWN RANGE WHILE INSIDE THE SHOOTING STALL

  5. ALWAYS KNOW YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT

RANGE RULES

1. FIREARMS MUST STAY IN THE ASSIGNED SHOOTING LANES AT ALL TIMES

2. A MAXIMUM OF TWO SHOOTERS WILL BE ALLOWED IN A STALL AT ANY ONE TIME

3. EYE AND EAR PROTECTION MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES WHILE INSIDE THE RANGE, INCLUDING BOTH VESTIBULE AREAS

4. ANYONE WHO INTENTIONALLY SHOOTS THE BAFFLES, SUPPORTS, TARGET HOLDERS, OR ANYTHING OTHER THAN THEIR DESIGNATED TARGET WILL BE CHARGED FOR THE DAMAGE, ESCORTED FROM THE RANGE AND NOT ALLOWED BACK. IF A MEMBER DOES THIS, THEIR MEMBERSHIP MAY BE REVOKED

5. ALL GUESTS MUST STAY IN THE COMPANY OF THEIR MEMBER AT ALL TIMES

6. ALL RANGE SAFETY OFFICER COMMANDS ARE FINAL AND NON-NEGOTIABLE. ANYONE WHO REFUSES TO FOLLOW RANGE SAFETY OFFICER DIRECTIONS WILL BE IMMEDIATELY ESCORTED FROM THE BUILDING

7. ANYONE BELIEVED TO BE UNDER THE INFLUENCE AND/OR SMELLING OF ANY INTOXICATING SUBSTANCE WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN THE RANGE AND MAY BE ESCORTED FROM THE BUILDING

8. NO STEEL-CORE, INCENDIARY, ARMOR PIERCING, OR ILLEGAL AMMUNITION ALLOWED ON THE RANGE AT ANY TIME!

9. SHOOTERS MAY ONLY SHOOT AT TARGETS IN THEIR ASSIGNED LANE. ANYONE FOUND SHOOTING AT ANOTHER PERSON’S TARGET WILL BE ESCORTED OUT OF THE RANGE

10. ONLY SLUG ROUNDS WILL BE ALLOWED WHILE FIRING SHOTGUNS IN THE RANGE

11. SHOOTERS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PICK UP THEIR BRASS FORWARD OF THE FIRING LINE

12. NO RAPID FIRE WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE RANGE UNLESS SHOOTER IS AN ELITE QUALIFIED MEMBER. RAPID FIRE MUST BE PERFORMED IN A CONTROLLED MANNER AND IS SUBJECT TO RANGE SAFETY OFFICER APPROVAL

13. NO DRAWING FROM THE HOLSTER IN THE STATIC BAYS

14. ALL SHOOTERS MUST SECURE THEIR PERSONAL FIREARMS UNLOADED IN THEIR RANGE BAGS OR, IF LOADED, SECURED IN THEIR HOLSTER WHILE ON EITHER THE SALES FLOOR OR THE RANGE

15. SHOOTERS MAY ONLY LOAD THEIR FIREARMS WHILE STANDING IN THEIR FIRING LANE STALL, FACING DOWN RANGE

16. WHEN RETURNING RENTAL FIREARMS, SHOOTERS MUST FIRST SHOW THE RANGE SAFETY OFFICER THAT THE FIREARM IS UNLOADED, WITH SLIDE TO REAR AND CHAMBER FLAG IN PLACE. SHOOTER MUST RETURN THE FIREARM TO THE RENTAL DESK IN THE TOTE OR CASE PROVIDED

17. NO PRIVATE INSTRUCTION ALLOWED IN THE RANGE WITHOUT AUTHORIZED CONSENT FROM ANN ARBOR ARMS MANAGEMENT

18. NO FOOD, DRINK, OR TOBACCO PRODUCTS ARE ALLOWED IN THE RANGE AT ANY TIME

19. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT IF YOU ARE NURSING OR PREGNANT, YOU DO NOT ENTER THE RANGE. PLEASE CONSULT YOUR PHYSICIAN FIRST

20. APPROPRIATE ATTIRE IS REQUIRED, INCLUDING CLOSED TOED SHOES
